Internet radio stations on Radio Tuna are profiled according to over 300 genres, from Afrobeat to Zouk, using our own proprietary algorithms. Search results are ranked by how much each genre of music is played by each radio station, and the genre breakdowns next to each station give a visual indication of what to expect when you tune in. We don't use the genres that radio stations choose for themselves as we don't think they are reliable enough - instead, we track the music they play and then work out the genre profiles ourselves. This is what makes Radio Tuna different to every other online radio search engine out there!

Enter the name of an artist and Radio Tuna will tell you if any internet radio stations are playing that artist right now. If no radio stations happen to be playing the artist you search for, you'll see a list of stations ranked by how often they have played music by that artist in the past. These radio stations will usually be playing music that's similar to the artist you searched for, so dive in and find something you'll enjoy. You also get to see the genre breakdowns of the stations in your search results, so you can try out radio stations with your eyes before your ears!

If you know the name, or part of the name, of an online radio station you can search for it here and get a list of search results that contain the word(s) you are looking for. This is a good search technique to use to find radio stations that don't publish much track data and therefore don't appear in genre or artist searches. Try searching for things like 'rap radio' or 'old school' to discover even more radio stations you'll love!
