Big Band (
Big Band radio stations feature a type of Jazz music played (as the name suggests) by 'big' bands, with ensembles of typically 10-25 musicians playing trombones, saxaphones and trumpets with singers. Big Band music grew out of the Swing music that was fashionable in the 1920s and 30s, and it remains popular to this day. Big Bands feature Big Band music is usually arranged in advance rather than improvised, although it does feature short improvisations. Popular artists featured on Big Band online radio stations include Benny Goodman, Glen Miller, Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra.
